Clear Creek Tactical was founded on a simple idea: the 1911 deserves careful, patient work from someone committed to learning, practicing, and doing the work safely and correctly, and who treats every firearm with the care he would want for his own. A lifelong respect for firearms.

My interest in firearms started early. I was introduced to hunting and firearms as a young boy by my grandfather, who taught me that guns were not toys or status symbols — they were tools that deserved respect, safety, and care. That early respect for firearms stayed with me, and over time it grew into a particular appreciation for the 1911 platform: its history, its design, and the kind of disciplined craftsmanship it requires.

Training and continued study.

In addition to hands-on experience and continued study, I have trained through the American Gunsmithing Institute with a focused interest in the 1911 platform. I continue building my knowledge through formal instruction, hands-on training, careful practice, and a commitment to doing the work safely and correctly.

Because we work from a private residence, every visit is by appointment only. This protects the safety, privacy, and quiet of our family and our neighbors, and it ensures that your appointment time is set aside for your firearm and your project. Clients come to the Poolville shop from throughout Parker, Wise, and Tarrant Counties — including Weatherford, Springtown, Bridgeport, Fort Worth, Hudson Oaks, Willow Park, and surrounding North Texas communities.

We do not sell firearms online and we do not process payments through this website. Pricing, lead times, and project scope are discussed in person so that the work — and the relationship — start with clarity.
